Joinotify

Audiences & Contacts

Joinotify → Audiences & Contacts is the contact base of your Joinotify account, opened inside WordPress. Available since 2.5.0.

The base stays on Joinotify: the screen reads and changes everything through the site's own REST routes, and the API key never reaches the browser. It is the same base as the dashboard — a contact edited here shows up edited there.

Before showing anything, the screen asks Joinotify what the site's key may do, and says so when:

  • the site is not connected or the key was revoked;
  • the account is blocked by billing, with a link to the dashboard page that resolves it;
  • the key is restricted to some numbers — in that case the screen is read only.

Contacts

The list of the base, with search by name, e-mail or phone, filters by tag, consent and source, three sort orders and pagination. What the filters select can be exported as CSV.

A contact opens in a side panel with its data, tags, custom fields, consent and evidence, suppression rows, the site's users with the same e-mail or phone, and its history. From there it can be edited, opted in (with the evidence of how consent was obtained) or opted out, exported as JSON or erased for good.

  • Add contact asks for the phone in international format, name, e-mail, tags, every field of the account (each with the right input for its type) and, optionally, the consent with its evidence. When the phone already belongs to another contact, the dialog offers to open that contact or to update it with what was typed.
  • Merge folds a duplicate into the open contact: conversations, tags, history and campaigns move over to it, the duplicate's fields only fill the empty ones, and an opt-out of either of the two wins.
  • A tag can be added to or removed from the selected contacts, or from every contact the filters select, at once and without starting any workflow.

Import CSV

The file is read in the browser — comma, semicolon or tab separated, quoted cells, UTF-8 with or without BOM — and is never stored on the site. The screen guesses what each column is from its header and lets you map it to the phone, names, e-mail, language, tags or any custom field.

You can choose to update the contacts that already exist or leave them as they are, add tags to every row and record the consent of all of them with its evidence. The rows go out in batches of 500 under a single import record, with the running totals on screen and the refused lines listed with the reason.

Fields & tags

Creates, edits, archives, restores and erases the account's custom fields — text, number, date, date and time, yes/no, single or multiple choice, e-mail, URL and phone — suggesting the key from the label. And creates, edits and erases tags, with a color from the dashboard's palette. Each tag shows how many contacts carry it and opens those contacts in the Contacts tab.

Audiences

Lists the account's saved audiences with their last count, and creates, edits, archives, restores and erases them.

The filter builder combines conditions on custom and native fields, tags, consent and a free search, in "all"/"any" groups up to three levels and 30 conditions. The preview counts who the audience selects by consent — reachable, opted in, unknown, opted out and suppressed — with a sample. See contacts opens the Contacts tab already filtered by the audience.

Condition types built in the dashboard that this screen does not draw are kept as they are.

Suppression list

The numbers that never receive a marketing campaign, by reason. You can add one by hand and take one off the list; for an opt-out or a Meta marketing block, the screen asks for confirmation twice, because the number stays opted out until the person agrees again.

Sources

Gathers the Joinotify Cloud sync: its switch and monitor, and each source — WooCommerce, WordPress users, forms and abandoned carts — with its own tags (on top of the site's tag), order items, addresses and the marketing consent checkbox.

  • User and order meta — a CPF, a birthday, any checkout field — can fill custom fields of the contact. They only fill fields that are empty on Joinotify, so what someone typed in the dashboard wins.
  • Each form from WPForms or Elementor can have a rule: whether it creates contacts, which fields are the phone, e-mail, first and last name, which checkbox is the marketing consent (sent as an opt-in with the text you set, the form and the moment as evidence), the tags to add and which fields fill custom fields. With Only the forms switched on below, every form without a rule is skipped; without that option, a form without a rule is still read by its field types and labels.

The same options keep working from the sync's window under Settings → General.

In workflows

The Save contact and Tag contact actions create and update contacts from any trigger — see Builder actions.
